PROPOSAL OF APPLICATION NOTICE (PAN)

AT THE HIDEAWAY, CARMICHAEL ESTATE VISITOR CENTRE,
WARRENHILL ROAD, CARMICHAEL, BIGGAR, ML12 6PF

DTA will be holding two Public Consultation events on a drop-in basis at The Hideaway located within the visitor centre of the Carmichael Estate near Biggar on behalf of our client Carmichael Estate to present the preliminary stage of the proposals we will be progressing for submission to South Lanarkshire Council in support of a Planning Application for a residential development at land at Devonside Road, Carmichael.

Many of you may be familiar with the site locally and be aware of the previous Planning Permission for residential development granted several years ago which remains live, however our client wishes to take a fresh approach to the development and has appointed DTA to establish this and progress the revised proposals to a stage where a new application for Planning can be submitted.

An aerial image, location plan and indicative site plan, which is in the early stages of the design process can be viewed below for your information and we warmly welcome you to join us at the events above which are being held on a drop-in basis to allow anyone interested in the proposals to view the plans and have your queries answered relative to this stage by a representative from DTA, who will also invite you to leave any comments/ suggestions regarding the development.

The site has an existing live Planning Permission for residential development and you can view/ download an extract of the approved site plan by clicking the button.

We have prepared an indicative site plan for the proposed new layout for the development and this can be viewed/ downloaded by clicking the adjacent button. Please note that this is still in the early stages of the design process.
